Gayam Motors:

Gayam Motors is a Hyderabad-based startup company, which has the vision to create a clean and sustainable society. The mission of the company is to create a drastic change in the automobile industry, thereby bringing a huge number of electric vehicles to the market. The founder of Gayam Motors is the Gayam Brothers – a team of two men. Mr.Raja Gayam and Rahul Gayam developed this company in the early 2010s. The company has focussed on 3-wheelers, this is because the pollution caused by the three-wheelers are at its peak level in the country. The company has manufactured two electric auto variants and two electric loader variants. In this post let’s look upon the features of the electric loader variants.

Taskman-Cargo:

Taskman Cargo is a smart electric loader variant manufactured by the company. This goods carrier is specially designed for loading and unloading of small cargos. This vehicle is capable of carrying tall and oversized loads in all riding conditions. It has a robust design, which makes it suitable for working in all tough conditions. Both front and rear wheels have hydraulic drum brakes in it. The shocker is provided for both front and rear wheels. Both of them have hydraulic shock absorber with helical spring and dampener. The maximum load-carrying capacity of Taskman Cargo is around 500 kgs. The vehicle has a facility that it can be synced with the mobile and cloud. There is a ground clearance of about 165 mm with 20 percent gradeability.

Battery & Motor Capacity:

Taskman Cargo has 4.5 kW powerful motor in it, which increases its overall performance. It has 48V 100A-hr Lithium-ion battery in it. This reduces its charging time and also its wait.

Top Speed:

The top speed of Taskman Cargo is 55 kmph. This is really an impressive speed for an e-loader variant because the currently available e-loader variants are having a maximum of 30 to 35 kmph speed only.

Mileage/Range:

The mileage or range given by the Taskman Cargo is nearly 110 kms when the vehicle is fully charged. This is really useful for long-distance riding conditions. The manufacturer nailed it in both speed and range of the vehicle.

Charging:

Taskman Cargo can be recharged with the normal domestic plug point available in the household. The charging time is around 3 hours and it has to be noted that it is solar chargeable. The company conveys that the average cost of charging for one kilometer is just 50 paise. Thus, buying a Taskman Cargo is completely cost-efficient.

Price & Warranty:

The price of the Taskman Cargo starts from Rs.3.25 Lakhs. This is an affordable price for this excellent vehicle. The Taskman Cargo comes up with a manufacturer warranty of 1 year.

eCargo:

eCargo electric rikshaw is an another e-loader variant designed by the company. The major difference between the Taskman Cargo and the eCargo is, the former was of Lithium-ion battery and the latter is of Lead-acid battery. This electric cargo rikshaw is specially designed for loading and unloading of small cargos. The rugged body, robust design along with cent percent safety, makes it a perfect vehicle. Both front and rear wheels have hydraulic drum brakes in it with a hand leaver parking brake. The shocker is provided for both front and rear wheels. Both of them have hydraulic shock absorber with helical spring and dampener. The maximum load-carrying capacity of eCargo is around 400 kgs. The capacity is decreased comparatively because the lead-acid batteries match up the rest 100 kgs. This vehicle also has mobile and cloud syncing facility in it. The ground clearance and the gradeability are just the same as that of the Taskman Cargo.

Battery & Motor Capacity:

eCargo has a 48V 1.52 kW powerful motor along with a 48V DC motor controller in it. As mentioned earlier, it has 48V 120 aH lead-acid batteries in it.

Top Speed:

The top speed of eCargo is 25 kmph. This is a decent speed for e-rikshaws, as they should not exceed the maximum speed while carrying that much load in them.

Mileage/Range:

The mileage or range given by the eCargo is around 60 to 90 kms when the vehicle is fully charged. This is a pretty good range for this variant.

Charging:

eCargo can be recharged with the normal domestic plug point available in the household. The charging time is nearly 5 to 6 hours and it has to be noted that it is solar chargeable. The company specifies that the average cost of charging for one kilometer is just 40 paise. Thus, both the vehicles released by Gayam Motors are pocket-friendly ones.

Price & Warranty:

The price of the eCargo starts from Rs.1.4 Lakhs. This is a money saving vehicle, undoubtedly. The eCargo variant comes up with a manufacturer warranty of 1 year.
